North Carolina was another state I got to explore.  I was beyond thrilled because I’ve never been to the Appalachian Mountains.  I had the honor of speaking at Promoting Passion, a creative conference hosted by one of my favorite photographers, Brooke Shaden.  The conference was held in Boone, North Carolina, a small town that sits two hour drive from the airport, tucked into those beautiful mountains.  After the conference, I decided to take my camera and explore the area.  Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the most scenic drives in the U.S.  It’s the perfect fall drive.
