Running on Empty Winner for Chicago Confidence! Workshop!
What a beautiful group of women were nominated. As always, their stories are heart-wrenching yet full with ripe possibility, perseverance and love. Thank you for your nominations, for sharing about your lives and for being willing to reach either on behalf of someone you love or even harder, for yourself.
It was a very difficult job for our panel. They want to make sure every nominee knows that she deserves this spot even though they have to choose only one.
Our winner for Chicago is, Kellie Staats!!
This was a second nomination for Kellie who writes a moving blog in honor of her daughter, Maddie, who died of SIDS while at daycare just last February. Read more about her by clicking here. Kellie received over 200 nominations for our Seattle Workshop contest! The love and compassion poured out for her was astounding. Me Ra and Brian are so happy to offer this to you Kellie.
