He walked a mile in the rain with a guitar, harmonica and coat hanger. He bent the coat hanger around his neck so it would hold a harmonica in place. This way he could play the guitar, blow the harmonica AND sing. I heard singing outside my apartment window, but couldn’t believe it was him standing there in the pouring rain–singing his heart out to me. I still remember feeling like the luckiest girl in the world. Neighboring tenants were stretching their necks to watch the scene below giving me a thumbs up or clap of hands. If I close my eyes, it feels like that night happened only yesterday. But it was 16 years ago, and this week we are celebrating 15 years of marriage! How fast time flies when your are experiencing all of life’s adventures alongside the one you love. He still finds ways to surprise me all the time, and I can tell you that my love has only grown and GROWN for this man over the last fifteen years.

Happy Anniversary! I had the privilege to attend a CONFIDENCE workshop this year and I witnessed the way you still look at Brian after all these years and it’s just LOVE coming from your heart through your eyes. You two are a great couple.
