A collection of transformation, identity, and the stories that shape who we become.
THE BOOK of BECOMING
a living collection
Brian and I just finished shooting a beautiful wedding in Colorado this weekend.
I’m working on my laptop as we make our way back home, and I come across one image that says LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
He has stolen my heart with one glance of his eye.

What is a mom to do?

I say we have Jane and Blaze marry each other in 20 or so years. We’d have the biggest brown eyed grandchildren!
He really is a dreamy little guy…

you have frozen more than time here; you have captured an essence of the relationship between mother and child, parent and child, that is universal to all women everywhere. he is no longer your son; he is humanity’s child, and that is why the picture works.

The worst is when I come out of the bathroom in the morning, and Blaze gasps…yes “gasps” then says, “Mama, you look so beautiful today.”
Boy, oh boy. He’s got me so wrapped around his finger!

Wow. You’re not just an amazing photographer, you’re a homeschool mom too! Been browsing through your blog this morning. It’s sooo inspiring. This shot is even more amazing than your “regular” stuff. Probably because you love the subject so much!
