Photo Tips

The Most Important Camera Setting

This great photo taken by Julie from San Antonio was only moments after the last photo.  These precious moments are so easy to miss if you don’t have your camera ready on the MOST IMPORTANT CAMERA SETTING when photographing kids.  Ready?  It’s Continuous Shooting Mode. Some cameras may call it “Burst Mode”.  This setting enables you to take several frames a second so you don’t miss a single expression.

I love how Julie caught mom with her arm wrapped around baby and baby snuggled in.  This portrait is just timeless.  Look at how the beautiful window light is falling on their skin.  Great, GREAT job Julie!
