Do Grandmas Attend Our Workshop?

Elaine, the workshop attendee who took this photo, flew in from Abbotsford BC Canada.  She’s a proud grandma and wants to learn how to take great photos of her beautiful grandchildren.  When I’m a grandma someday, I want to be just like Elaine!  If there is something new and creative that I feel pulled to, I want to jump in fearlessly!  We’ve had a lot of brave, inspiring grandmas attend our 2-Day Workshop in the last eight years.  And I’m always soooo impressed because regardless of how intimidated they might feel, they are willing to give it a go!  (Love you Elaine!  You inspire me more than you know!)

Look at this AWE-mazing portrait that Elaine captured!  See how the soft light is outlining mom and baby’s heads, baby’s arm, mom’s hand…isn’t the lighting on this image so gentle and gorgeous?!  I also love how mom’s smile is subtle–almost like a peak-a-boo from behind baby.  So beautiful!  And baby’s facial expression, unbeatable!

Congrats Elaine on not only this photo but ALL the great photos you captured!  You’re such a superstar!  All I can say is “Look out!” to your grandkids!  Grandma is on fire!  Find Elaine on her Facebook page!
