Photography Workshop for Women! Seattle Results

Arlene flew out from Florida. The photography workshop was a Christmas present from her sisters! Arlene is not only one of the easiest people to laugh with, but she’s also got this FANTASTIC English accent!! 🙂 Arlene has seen much in life, and I know that all these things lend to the emotion in her images.

This was one of the first images Arlene took. But then she came to me and said that it was a bit cold for her. Beautiful image of mom and baby, but she wanted the image to be warmer.

Found this photography workshop for women with Me Ra Koh, The Photo Mom!

Oh my goodness, after reading this and seeing the pictures I am even more excited for the Sonoma workshop. April can’t get here soon enough. Is there a way to connect with the women attending before the workshop? I may be looking for a roomie.

I am still processing everything that happened this weekend. I keep telling my husband that this was the best investment in my business and my spirit that I’ve made in a long time. I learned so much about my how to use my camera (I didn’t get to practice with you guys but I did get to practice on my new nephew.) and I love all the marching orders I got for how to take my business to the next level. First order of business was I got MYSELF a blog as well. I can see how this is going to be addicting! I’ve had so much fun trying to implement all of the new tips and techniques we learned for our camera as well.

Thanks for a fabulous weekend with a neat bunch of ladies. I can hardly wait to connect with the new forum. (And maybe we’ll all have to take a refresher course together!)

I can’t wait for the forum. The one day was great. The weekend was even better if possible. I like Arlenes idea of a four day workshop. Its just so fun to learn with a group of women and Brian.
I think I missed the email address for judith’s sister. MeRa could you email it to me.
Thank you for a great weekend.

Michelle, you are so funny! They did sound like “marching orders” that night huh! But you know I only said those things because you are so amazing and talented!! And remember, you are welcome to sit in on the workshop again since you had to cut out for the baby being born–how inconvenient! 🙂
    xoxo!

The workshop might have only lasted 2 days, but I believe the benefits will last a lifetime. And those benefits go well beyond the camera lens or the computer software. As a parent, we all strive to set a good example for our children. But it is beyond wonderful when we are able to introduce their young minds and hearts to the positive, sharing, and creative influence of people like Me Ra and Brian, as well as all the lovely ladies that we got acquainted with this past weekend. What a gift this experience was for both of us! As a Mom I cannot express enough gratitude to you all for helping to give my daughter such a life-changing trip. We all must be tons healthier, if you go by the old saying that “laughter is the best medicine.” 😉 (Oh, and thank you “King Dr. Brian”, for giving Chels the RX for what ailed her.) Chelsie and I are talking about the possibilities of a side business; maybe to start a Mother/Daughter gig. But I always want her to have the freedom of soaring with her own wings. Me Ra and Brian: thank you so much for, not only unselfishly sharing of your knowledge and yourselves, but for giving us the confidence to bring our own possibilities into focus.

EEEEKK! I just realized my previous post has a MAJOR TYPO. I meant Point-and-Shoot (PAS) not POS. I’m so sorry, but I am getting a fairly good laugh out of it now. Ey, yi, yi!
