THE BOOK of BECOMING

Brian and I got the unexpected news that I won “Artistic Entrepreneur of the Year”!  Stiletto Woman is a powerful community of women who are rethinking leadership and celebrating women in the workplace who are making a difference.

They’ve been in the press several times and listed as one of the Top 25 Sites for Women entrepreneurs to Love in 2012.

I found out several months ago that I’d been nominated for a couple different categories.  We were invited to the award’s ceremony where they announce the winners in Atlanta, Georgia.  I was so sad our travel schedule already had us booked that weekend because the types of women gathering for the conference/awards was awesome.

A couple weeks ago, Michelle Cruz Slape pinned on my Facebook Page that I had won the category for Artistic Entrepreneur of the Year!  Check it out!

What a huge honor!  I want to formally thank and recognize the Stiletto Woman.  These women are doing such great work in the arenas of empowering, inspiring and raising up strong leaders.  Check out their website and especially their magazine!
