Brian and I want to thank all of you for passing our blog and new product site around to friends and family. Brian is a total stats man, he LOVES, LOVES, LOVES them–looks at them all the time, runs numbers, cross references stuff, pretty much makes me dizzy when he starts giving me the latest reports.
But I got to share this one! He said that for February 2008, we had close to 11,000 UNIQUE people visit the blog! That is unreal! That means close to 11,000 people who have never heard of www.merakohblog.com and www.refusetosaycheese.com, found us in February.
This is a total record breaker and blows my mind. Over 1500 unique people have visited in the first three days of March 08!
We have to say thanks again and again. You’re the reason this crazy number of unique visits goes up each month! When you share our blog, Instructional DVDs, 101 Kits,
Workshops, people totally come check us out, and they stay, they email us, they tell their friends! It’s so exciting!
Brian and I also wanted to give a special thanks to those of you who ordered the DVD series while we were in Thailand. Without us realizing, our system came across a glitch, and a handful of your orders were late to ship. The glitch was fixed several days ago, but Brian’s felt horrible about all this and has been spending the last couple days emailing you each individually. But if this happened to you, and you haven’t heard from Brian, please email (brian@fioria.us) so we can thank you for your patience and make it up to you.

Hi!!!! Welcome back Me Ra and Brian!!!!! I can’t believe this is my FIRST post after being a lurker for so long!
I order the DVD’s for Greg’s sister, Stephanie. I was worried a bit because of address line issues – I have to check with her to see if she has received it. π
Also, I am not sure if this helped your unique visitors, but did you know that our videographer, Daniel, also referenced you on his website? Our wedding slideshow is on his blog (http://dvartistry.blogspot.com). He’s actually been waiting for you to get back so he can get some photos to put on our DVD cover for us.
I want to say that you and Brian have officially become my IDOLS! Although it’s only been a month since Greg and I got married and the excitements haven’t died off yet, your lives and your marriage inspire me to look forward to so much more. I can’t wait to tell you about our anniversary trip to you and Brian in 10 years. We love you! So glad you’re back! I would have to say that your website is the only one I visit after checking my emails. π

It’s so good to hear that you’re back, alive and kicking! (Usually I noticed, when you are gone away on a trip, either one of you get sick!) Great to know that they’re no weird flus of that nature lurking around.

Your 11,000 unique visitors does not surprise me at all. I think it’s safe to speak for anyone who frequents your blog, in saying that ‘how can we have a conversation about photography WITHOUT bringing up Me ra Koh?’ Seriously.
Excuse me…but are you calling me ‘normal’ ;)… I will let you know that I am UNIQUE…no matter how many times I look at your website and write on your blog, and order every 101 kit and DVD…AND take 3 of your courses. Okay, so all that written in one sentence sounds obsessive. But, I, like Julie always bring up MeRaKoh photography…more than my friends care to imagine.
