Oh my goodness, it’s finally time to share the BIG news!!
We made it to Prime Time TV!! To NBC!!! That’s right! I’m going to be on the NEW Nate Berkus show this season! The show premiers September 13th on NBC! AND, I’m not just going to be on the show once friends…but how many times…. Can you guess? Oooh, I can’t say the answer yet!  But it’s a good answer! You’ll just have to tune in starting Monday, September 13th!
It is such an incredible honor to be collaborating with Nate and his amazing team of producers. And yes, I have to say that Nate Berkus really is the genuine, caring, creative, talented and just amazing guy you’ve seen with Oprah time and time again! It’s exciting to see a daily show based around all these parts of his personality. And his team of producers, they are INCREDIBLE–just INCREDIBLE–working around the clock (literally) to bring you a season of powerful, meaningful, beautiful, fun shows! To be included in this magic has me SPEECHLESS!
How did this opportunity even come to us? What is the behind-the-scenes scoop? Stay tuned because as we get closer to my first segment air dates, I’ll be sharing more. You will hear the back story to how our first taping went! It’s a beautiful story that has only just begun.
But for now, will you celebrate one of my first steps with the Nate Berkus team?  Go check out Nate Berkus’s new website! It just launched! You’ll see a special photo of me and Nate on the home page when it says “Be a Guest!” And then…check out his BLOG! Nate, his beautiful mom (amazing designer, Nancy Golden) and ME…ME (pinching myself several times!) are there!

Oh my gosh Mera, that is you with the cutie patootie! Congrats! Can you see me doing the happy dance for you:) It is so exciting to see your dream becoming a reality. I’m so excited for both of us. NBC now that’s big time and that is how Nate got started appearing on Oprah’s show. I already have my DVR set. I can’t wait to watch and don’t want to miss it.
And I’m so excited for the DC Workshop! It was so funny finding out. I got a “congrats” Facebook message via phone from one of my SOAR sisters. I couldn’t get over to the blog fast enough to see it myself. Then trying to explain to my boys why mommy is in tears (good ones) and smiles. Wow one exciting morning!

Though I know it took more than just dreams to get to this point- a lot of hard work, focus and a great support network just to name a few!
