I LOVE all the Halloween images that so many of you emailed me! They are FANTASTIC! And I’m so glad that you tried the Spooky Photo Tips during the day time! Your results are awesome! I wish I could feature all the images, but that would be a really, really long blog post. But here are a handful. And keep scrolling down to see our “special” feature with Edward Cullen from Twilight, plus our whole family dressed up together. ๐
Jennifer Caplinger sent this to me. So sweet! Love the depth of field Jennifer. You did good!
Rhonda included a Behind the Scenes shot, and I LOVE that! You can see where she was to take the shot.
She got the sweetest results ever! Here is one of my favorites! You would never know the image below was taken next to the garage! Isn’t her creative composition great! We’re not paying attention to this shot being next to her driveway, we’re just captured by her daughter’s eyes and those to cuties in the background!
I got to see this little cutie in person because she lives down the street. Oh man, she probably stole everyone’s heart on Halloween. Her little Annie wig and freckles were precious! Sara said she did the Photo Shoot idea with her kids the week before. So I had to steal her to take our family Halloween photo. See below!
Mary Larson emailed me. She shared that she’s a painter but follows our blog for photo tips. She took my advice and bought the 1.8 lens for her camera. WOW, look at this magical image! Mary, this took my breath away. It is perfect!
And now, for the moment all Twilight fans have been waiting for!
We had Edward Cullen with us on Halloween. Can you believe it! He’s a huge fan of Me Ra Koh Blog. ๐
He was serious. He was in character, and he didn’t utter a word that wasn’t from the Twilight movie!
You may have already spotted this image.
Here is an updated version from Halloween! This is my favorite from the night! As Bella said, “It was hard to believe that someone so beautiful could be real.” ๐
When I asked Edward how he feels about Halloween, he looked me right in the eyes and said ” What if I’m not the super hero? What if I’m the bad guy?” My girlfriend (who is a HUGE Twilight fan) pushed me out of the way and said “I know you weren’t hurt me Edward.” And the quotes continued ALL night long. ๐
Remember the scene in Twilight where Edward is watching Bella (right before he saves her from getting hit by a car).
Edward felt like he looked to cold with all the blue tones and hues. So we tried to lighten it up for Halloween with some yellow hues and background.
The whole family: Batgirl, Storm from Xmen, Wolverine and Edward Cullen.
(Thanks Sara!)
There you have it–some of your awesome Halloween photos and some of our favorites! Thanks again to everyone who emailed me your images! I LOVED them all! Keep up the good work!
xoxo,
Storm ๐
Ahh!!! Edward Cullen has my heart =) Brian: You make a wonderful Edward Cullen. I couldnt even tell a difference. All the halloween pictures are amazing!
I am a huge Twilight fan myself (I have even been to Forks, WA) and I have to say to Brian…awesome. I can hardly tell you and Edward apart!
MeRa, I am sure he “dazzled” you all evening.
It looks like you all had a great Halloween!
Oh I can’t stop laughing at Brian’s expression in the last picture!!!
I am a big Twilight fan so my 6 year old hears me talking about it a lot. Yesterday he informed me that the vampires in Twilight weren’t real because there weren’t such a thing as vampires in love! =)
Great photos everyone!!!! Love them!
Ahh! The pictures of Brian are hysterical! The rest of your family looks pretty awesome too, but boy, it would be hard to top Edward!
I just love Halloween!
I LOVE IT! How stinkin fun! I’ve had my tickets for New Moon for over a month now. I’m so excited! Brian makes an excellent Edward. Me Ra you are a lucky lady. (You have to raise your eyebrows with lucky to get the full effect.) It looks like you guys had a great Halloween!
I almost wet my pants when I saw Brian… I mean Edward! You guys crack me up!
That first shot of Brian… FREAKS me out. EEK!!! ๐
Oh my gosh I totally forgot to send in my pictures! I didn’t get them processed until I could buy my student discount copy of Lightroom 2. (Ladies, never discount the extra perks of continuing education…) I posted them here on my blog though! http://www.prosaicparadise.com/?p=909
These are all SO great. Definitely something to aspire to. You’re so right – who cares that you’re next to the driveway? The spotlight is on the beautiful kids.
Oh you guys always do Halloween so awesomely!! Brian you were my brother this year, as I dressed up as Alice Cullen! Yes, I will be one of the people at the 12:01 showing on the 20th… not sure if I will be there as Steph or Alice ๐ Hee Hee!!
You guys are so awesome. Brian as Edward is killing me. Love it!
Awesome costume Brian! Next year you should have a reprise of your character and MeRa should go as Bella and the kids can go as Jane and Alec, the Volturi twins…
Can’t wait to see New Moon!
You guys sure know how to do Halloween. I still remember last year and have been looking forward to this year. And Brian – you outdid yourself. You are an awesome Edward. When I came here today and saw my pictures and your sweet comments, well let’s just say, you made my day. Thanks! Thanks for the encouragement and teaching. I still trust that one day I WILL get to a workshop!
Me Ra, if you mean THIS Leslie, ABSOLUTELY!!! In fact, my ridiculously fun and wildly creative friend Annie, is hosting a New Moon party that night. I even ordered a shirt for the occassion and have to resist the urge to wear it before 11.20! Seriously. I’m 33 years old!
I’ve recently conned Michelle L. into reading the books and she’s hooked, so Kari and Me Ra you should grab her on the 20th!!!
Brian makes a fantastic Edward and he’s hysterically funny to boot, which might even make him better!
omg, brian! hahaha…thanks for the laugh ๐ you all looked great btw.
You guys are awesome.
Howdy I discovered your website by mistake, I was surfing around the net for New Fashion Designers when I found your website, I must say your webpage is really interesting I truely think the theme, its amazing!. I’m strapped for time at the moment to fully read through your site but I have saved the location of it and also signed up for your RSS feeds. I will be back when I free up some time. Bravo for a great website.
Have just returned from a holiday on Samui Island, stayed at Samui Inn in Maenam which is less busy than the party areas, superior hotel and wonderful beaches. We hired a jeep for only 700 baht per day and would drive around the island. So many great places to eat, our favourite spot was Thai Food Heaven in Chaweng Noi which had the most wonderful view over the beach, the staff was rather nice and the food so yummy, we went for sunrise drinks. My boyfriend and I had a brilliant time and will be back for New Year.
