A collection of transformation, identity, and the stories that shape who we become.
THE BOOK of BECOMING
a living collection
Hey it’s Genie here! Shhhh, don’t tell Me Ra or Brian but I took over while they’re flying through the air to Thailand. It’s only fair, don’t cha think? 😀
A quick question for you who want to do a CONFIDENCE! Workshop: where would you like Me Ra and Brian to come this year? We have Orange County (CA) and the New York area covered, and of course Seattle. Where else? A number of you have sent in votes in the past (which I’ve been collecting) but I want to check again – so give me a shout with a comment below even if you told us once before.
I love the ladies who have done our past workshops!
You have all been the BEST to work with. And to see you shine is totally inspiring and heartwarming. Right on. So if you’d like the Fab Duo, Wonder Woman and Mr. Wonder, (or plug in your pet name for two of my fave people on this planet. The fact that Me Ra’s reading this has NO bearing on my saying this…really. ;)) to light up a spot near you, it’s a good time to chime in. Don’t you love that you get to vote?
And now that I have a camera I’m going to come to a workshop too. Any thought on which camera I have? It’s SO PRETTY!
So, where to?

Somewhere in the South!! Atlanta maybe?? Or Charleston – that’s a fun city…or even somewhere in Florida??? We Southern Sisters need something close!

I have the same SO PRETTY camera…and am dying to learn more about it… how about OHIO?!?!?!?!?!?
February 10th, 2010 at 7:54 am
Michigan!!! Come check out the Great Lakes State. The movie industry has found out that Michigan is a hidden gem…so should you! Detroit is a fun town an offers some great homeschooling opportunities for Me Ra’s kids…the Henry Ford Museum! Grand Rapids is really great too. Lots of urban locations for photos. Lake Michigan has unbelievable sunsets and nice sandy beaches….not an oceanview but its right up there. Please please please come to Michigan because I can’t afford to go anywhere else….and see there are a couple other Midwest girls!

February 10th, 2010 at 10:04 am
Genie, I knew we were going to here from you but I was hoping we’d get to SEE you. I’ve heard about your fabulousness but have never seen your FACE.
February 10th, 2010 at 10:29 am
I second the South! I’m right outside of Charleston so of course I’d love that (plus Conde Nast Traveler mag put us at No. 2 in their top 10 American travel destinations!) , but Atlanta or Charlotte are great Southern cities too. 🙂

Anyone can fly into Las Vegas cheaply! I have to pull for Vegas because I just don’t think you’ll come to see me in North Dakota 🙂 but Dr’s appts. keep me going to Vegas and San Diego regularly… the timing just didn’t work for the OC workshop.
February 10th, 2010 at 5:41 pm
You most certainly need to have a workshop in the middle of the country too – Chicago or Milwaukee would be my suggestions (that way all our friends from Minnesota, Michigan and Indiana could come too)…

Am thinking about the confidence workshop in Seattle again this coming year – would love that. Such a great workshop. But wanted to get my vote in for another Discovery workshop. Would really LOVE to see another one of those soon. 🙂
February 11th, 2010 at 11:31 pm
I agree on another Discovery workshop somewhere on the West coast.
I saw somebody mention San Louis Obispo. The Central Coast is REALLY beautiful and would be a fabulous place for a workshop. It’s really Central and not too far for people from both the Los Angeles basin AND the Bay area. Just a thought! (and I don’t live on the Central coast – although I’d love to – but it’s not too far to travel to.)

Christine, didn’t know you were so evil!?! Keep chiming in gals – so good to hear from each of you. I’ve also heard ‘Cancun’ in the past – but I think it creates too much expense and distraction…what do you think?
Congrats Beth on your new ‘friend’! I know it DOES something, just figuring out what…;) Although I know this sounds like a plug (but a sincere one) but I’m grateful for the Soarority Forum – a chance to learn together and share. Come play there with me. You’ll see my funny face there too Ashley!
February 12th, 2010 at 11:07 am
Washington DC!!! Great side trip for the kids to see the nation’s capital and there’s a bunch of us SOAR sisters in driving distance! 🙂
February 12th, 2010 at 12:44 pm

February 16th, 2010 at 8:27 pm
i’ll say Jacksonville, Florida but since I realize no one will want to come here (even though if you come to my blog and see our wonderful beach life you’ll WANT to) – – my vote is ORLANDO, FLORIDA. there’s always a flight into Orlando and I’ll definitely drive there, and maybe even Atlanta, though I’d prefer ORLANDO !
February 17th, 2010 at 1:11 pm
Florida! Orlando is pretty inexpensive to fly into and those of us in the surrounding areas (im in boca) could drive:)
