It’s late Thursday night, and I typically try to unplug once we have dinner. But tonight, I keep thinking about this passage from one of Paulo Coelho’s books. It’s a passage I’ve been writing and thinking on for the last couple weeks. And for some reason, something keeps nudging me tonight, as if to tell me that there is someone else out there who needs this as much as I do.
From the Warrior of the Light;
“A Warrior of the Light knows that certain moments repeat themselves.
He often finds himself faced by the same problems and situations, and seeing these difficult situations return, he grows depressed, thinking that he is incapable of making any progress in life.
“I’ve been through all this before,” he says to his heart.
“Yes, you have been through all this before,” replies his heart. “But you have never been beyond it.”
Then the Warrior realizes that these repeated experiences have one aim: to teach him what he does not want to learn.” Â
So I quiet myself, and I ask my heart, “Me Ra, what do you not want to learn?”

p.s. This post was supposed to go live at 7:30am, and there have been several barriers to figuring out why it hasn’t done just that. Clearly, this post is for someone today! I have been so determined all morning to get it live!
I’m pretty sure it’s for me (among others, of course).
So, thank you, this post speaks to me in ways that are much to detailed to leave here.
I love the reassurance I always get from you that it’s ok to be still learning, working on myself & just trying to figure it all out.
LOVE this!!!
🙂
Yes.
I’m not sure I’ll like the answer to What don’t I want to learn.
