Photo Contests!

The Winners of the Pumpkin Photo Contest Are…

Me Ra Koh

Everyone will agree that the five finalists were ALL wonderful! And as Brian and I counted up the votes last night, we couldn’t believe how close it came!!

But in the end we had one winner! Finalist #1 won!! A big congrats to Amanda!

I think the voters said it well when many expressed how this image held mystery, an anticipation of the story waiting to unfold, timelessness…Amanda, you should be proud!! Good for you!!! I love how you explained this photo of your kids as “the long journey of life they have in front of them”. Just beautiful!

So we have a serious Sony camera and Cyber Shot Station to ship your way!! Email us your shipping address and phone number to contest@fioria.us!

The winner of the Random Voter is…

We put all the votes into Excel and then Brian had Excel do a random pick of one of the voters (we collected only the votes up until 5pm Pacific Time).

The random voter who was picked to be Winner #2 is Felicia! You were the one who commented by saying, “#5 has to be the most precious photo ever! Makes me want to be a Moma :).”

You, my dear, are the lucky winner of the Random Voter prize!! Email us at contest@fioria.us, so we can send you a $50 gift certificate to Amazon.com!

I want to give a special thanks to everyone who entered images, the 5 finalists, and all 303 voters! I know that I’ve been inspired for sure! We HAVE to do another contest! The only question is what should the theme for the contest be?

You tell me!

Contest theme idea – best holiday greeting card photos!?

  3. Congratulations Amanda; I’m so happy for you! I’m also happy to hear your going to have other contests. Prizes or not, it sounds like a lot of fun!

As for themes…what about something like the meaning of Christmas? Or what I’m thankful for? I think either would give you a really diverse entry group and some great pictures. Just my two cents. Hope everyone has a great day!

I just spoke to Amanda because by a sweet coincidence she also was a winner in our Who Do You Love contest today. She directed me to your blog and her awesome photo. What great ideas, both the photo and the contest.

I’m hoping the the next contest will also include a small lesson – something like an explanation of shutter speed or something I haven’t yet thought of that I really should know…

    I like a being thankful/gratitude theme too.
