You are the most amazing husband a woman could ever ask for. You are the perfect partner for all our crimes! π Whether it’s parenting, our business, our marriage, there is no one more giving than you.
People are surprised time and time again with how you don’t need more credit in our business, that you are okay with how much spotlight is put on me, and yet, you never think about it. It doesn’t even occur to you to want more glory or recognition. This among many other things is why I know there is no other husband like you.
You are King Daddy Brian to the kids, and they love you for it. You have been through experiences so hard, I can’t even begin to fathom your survival.
You have loved me back to life. You hold a light of hope when I’m to tired too. And you make me laugh like no one else.

Though my “in person” experience with Brian is limited to one weekend workshop, the thing I enjoy most about him (well, besides his hilarious sense of humor!) is that he can totally hold his own in a room full of cackling women….what a guy! Brian! Happy Birthday!!! Every experience i have had with you has always made me ponder on the perfection of the match you are for Me Ra! You remind me of my wonderful husband for many of the reasons Me Ra mentioned. You are hilarious and fun! But deeper still you are strong like a willow tree. You can bend through tough winds of change without breaking and you bow to the needs of others so graciously! You and your wife are two of my most favorite people in the world!! Even though I only met you briefly it was enough to see that you are a sweet, funny, extremely kind man, father and husband. You have an easy going gentle vibe about you and yet I know that you are a strong man and constant support to those around you.

Brian is such an adorable husband. Echoing a sentiment of others on here, he reminds me of my husband, too. Perfectly content to stand out of the limelight, but is a hilarious kick-in-the pants backstage. Patient, and quick to laughter, totally unpretentionous and honest. What a fantastic time Blaze and Pascaline will have as adults, reflecting back on their parents’ relationship…one of the best gifts in the world one could give to their children…

Happy Birthday! Although our experience with has really only been one. The day of our daughter Brittany’s wedding when you and Me Ra surprised us with helping Bleu shoot the wedding. The thing I remember the most is when I (MOB) was walking down the isle with my boys trying not to cry. I looked ahead down the isle and I see you crouched down right by where I was going to sit and you had this hugest smile on your face. Made me laugh and think “ok, now this is going to be fun”! Happy Birthday Brian! Your wife made me feel real guilty about not posting a similar one for my beautiful bride of over 30+ years on her birthday in January. I don’t know what I would ever do without her as I’m sure your wife feels about you from the sounds of this post. You guys are really special to a lot of photogs out there and a very big inspiration to us all. I can only hope to make it as big as you guys one day.
