Last month I blogged about the great opportunity Sony extended us. They basically overnighted us their new Sony DSLR-A900 camera and invited us to shoot with it for our last two weddings.
The camera wasn’t available on the market yet, so it was pretty fun being one of the first wedding photographers to use it. Actually, fun isn’t the right word for it. It was AMAZING!
Sony asked us to not share the images until mid November. I’m allowed to show you these shots that Brian took of me shooting with the 900, but I can’t show you what I was shooting…yet.
From the beautiful landscape of Cape Cod
to the lush, rolling hills of Colorado
We shot the new Sony DSLR-A900 like there was no tomorrow!
We took our clients through sand and beach grass
made them jump fences
and even climb over scary, thorn filled bushes
to find the perfect setting
Wouldn’t you do the same if a billion dollar company overnighted you their new pride and joy camera?!
A big thanks to Sony for trusting us with their new camera and giving us such an incredible opportunity!
Sony asked us to wait to show you what was on the other side of my camera until mid November. I’m thinking this week is starting to feel like mid November.
Don’t you?
Stay tuned!

I was wondering how the inspiration contest was coming along? (Hint! ๐
Yay! I can’t wait to see them – I love my 300 so much and I can only imagine what the 900 can do!
Wow, are we going to get to touch the A900 in Chicago? Or can we just stand around and stare at it? LOL… I had a dream last night that Sony gave you A900’s to give to everyone attending the workshop. Crossing my fingers! LOL!!!!!
That last picture is FANTASTIC!! Brian has such a great eye!!! I can’t wait to see what that camera can do.
Me Ra, I can’t wait to meet you!! I know you have Sony cameras and lenses, but will you have Canon lenses too? ♥
I think Sony should overnight you more stuff! I have recommended Sony SLR cameras to a dozen or so people since the Sonoma workshop where you let us play with it, and nearly half of ’em bought one, or are expecting one for Christmas! One of my friends took it out of the box, snapped the lens on and went right out to capture her kids playing… She was so thrilled with what she got she cried!
I can’t wait to see the weddings you shot with the Sony 900! You sure do look cute shooting with it!
oh, it is SO mid november already!!! I cannot wait to see those shots!!!
I can’t wait to see them!!!
Go Sony! Would love to try one myself. Maybe sometime. ๐
Me Ra, I am so excited!!! I can’t wait to see our photos!
LUCKY!!! ๐
Fabulous images (as always) and Sony put that camera in the right woman’s hands. IT LOOKS AMAZING! What I love most about those images posted is your smile MeRa…your beautiful smile literally lights up the room and it exudes such joy. Simply beautiful!
