Family Photo Essay: Baby’s First Year

Me Ra Koh

Little Photo Tip for Working with Toddlers:  When you do a baby shoot that involves an older “toddler” aged sibling, find out what types of things they love.  His mama told me that he loves cars, she told me that he loves to visit the ford dealer in Mckenzie, TN with her all the time.  It took me just a few extra minutes to stop by the store and buy a Hot Wheels car for Joshua.  And that few extra minutes, won me favor with this little guy for the next two hours!  Worth it?  I’d say so.  It’s such an emotional time for the big brothers and sisters.  They see everyone bring a gift for the baby, but let’s remember to find ways to surprise them too.
