3 KEY PHOTO TIPS for PETS AND BABIES (we’re laughing because the puppies are hiding behind Kelly)
The funny part is that the photo tips for pets are pretty much identical to my favorite photo tips for babies and toddlers! 🙂
- Exercise and Feed Them First. This may sound silly, but if you want a calm, fed dog and baby for successful photos. Start the day with a trip to the park first!
2. Use Continuous Shooting mode. This allows you to take several photos at once to ensure you don’t miss the perfect shot.
3. Turn off Your Flash, Raise Your ISO and… Your flash will make your pet and kids look like they have five o’clock shadows and no skin color. If you’re worried about the photo being blurry because you’re not using a flash, raise your ISO for more light indoors or make a plan to shoot outdoors where there is plenty of light.
4. Bark and Howl Like a Dog. I know it sounds nutty, but you’d be amazed at the GREAT photos I get when both the kids and pets are taken off guard because mom or dad started barking and howling like a dog. I think Jerry O’Connell did a pretty swell job on the show! LOL!
5. Use My Magic Ingredient for Magical Photos. My favorite photo tip for pets and kids, especially dogs, use a slab of Peanut Butter. Read about this little secret tip here!
