We had the most wonderful time yesterday at the Microsoft Small Business Show!
The guests were so awesome, the staff and film crew were just incredible to work with. A gal Lisa Margaret did our makeup, and she was AWESOME!! All brides, email Lisa for makeup on your wedding day! Lisa’s email is hellalov4u@aol.com.
But the best part, everyone had their kids everywhere! Here’s me backstage trying to french braid Pascaline’s hair. She needed her hair just right. 🙂
Then after the show Brian and I were totally blown away at all of you blog readers who came to be in the audience! It was so fun to see familiar faces and meet new friends!
The couple to my left flew all the way from Texas to be in the audience! Brian and I about fell over when they told us! Dana has the most amazing story of how she left her long career of real estate after our Texas workshop last April and started photography. I asked her to share her story in the comments (when she gets back home of course :)). And the gal in white that is two over from my right is Amanda! She was the winner of the Pumpkin Contest and Sony Camera. It was so fun to meet her in person and her friends!
On an empty set, some little guy found his own empty Producer’s chair.

Awesome clip! You looked beautiful and spoke so well. My husband and I watched it over breakfast and flipped over your second mortg. story about the ad you took out. Talk about taking a huge leap and following your heart. Very inspirational!

I attended your workshop in Plano TX on April 14th 2007; I want to thank both you and Brian for inspiring me and giving me the knowledge to use my camera. And that is just what I did! 2 months later I gave my notice and left my job in the Real Estate industry after 7 years to pursue Photography Full time with my target customer being Builders and Developers in Real Estate. My husband found software that was both awesome and expensive but we went for it! HDR Full Screen Virtual Tours with interactive floor plans and maps of properties. Being in the Real Estate business we knew this was not out there and we could really be a hit with all the internet use in today’s world. The Monday I gave my 2 weeks notice my corporate office was hosting the Marketing conference for our entire company. What did the topic of the week end up focusing on??? Virtual Tours! What a blessing, after telling my boss what I was pursuing I got an appointment to meet with the marketing dept and pitch my product (along with 2 others). I was thinking what great practice. Well needless to say the other photographers were offering the old 3×2 blurry screen and I knocked there socks off with the Full Screen HDR! I got the account of 30 model homes!
I can’t thank you enough for the best money I ever spent on any photography training! I do have 2 teenagers and still love to capture them in time, but what you gave me was a way to spend more time with my family by being my own boss. What a blessing.
