Event Description:
Be Empowered Both Technically and Creatively to Turn Happy Accidents into Timeless Portraits
From a child’s daily activities to those time-marking back to school pictures, great images always capture the spirit of the moment, the story and the subject. And, celebrated lifestyle photographer Me Ra Koh knows how to get them all, and so can you. At this special event, she will reveal her methods for documenting a child’s story through photography… without ever making them “Say Cheese.”
Me Ra will share the lessons she’s learned as a “mommie” photographer capturing the wonderful faces of children, both hers and countless others. She will also share the secrets of storytelling photography, and demystify all those scary camera terms by converting them into everyday words that anyone can understand and learn from. With some fun exercises and dynamic examples, Me Ra will invite you to spend a little time with her and be quickly rewarded with an entirely new level of creativity and perspective on both the activity, and the business, of photographing kids.

Any plans to have a workshop in Boston, or the Providence RI area ???
I really don’t know about you folks however , I am a real mug for videos. Each time I browse through a write-up like this I would like it if the actual OP provides a movie of sorts. Of course, virtually all individuals definitely do not however people who put in the effort….. what can i say.. Perhaps this can vary based on the article content and subject matter and for virtually all content the idea will not make any kind of sense by any means nevertheless for the far more technical subjects, as well as celeb matters, medical content material, interviews, media, along with standard written content it may be enjoyable to see a warm and friendly face or perhaps tone of voice. Nevertheless, I suppose I’m a touch off topic. Thank you for enriching the Internet!
I just happen to come across this site looking for a new lens. I see I missed your NY workshop and wanted to know if you have any in the near future coming up in NY again? Photography is something I enjoy and would love to do more then just a hobby. If I could just be sure I could ALWAYS get a focused shot! LOL I have a lot of books on learning but just never seem to “GET IT”. I think I understand the aperture, iso, and shutter working together until I go to USE it. It’s a hit or miss when using so apparently I don’t get it. Would just love to catch a workshop sometime soon! Thanking you in advance, Donna Ratikan babyrat@hotmail.com
