I had the honor of seeing my work on exhibit while in NYC. Every year SONY and American Photo magazine join forces to throw this amazing party in celebration of creativity, new technology and great photography. This year, they exhibited a couple of my photos from the election shoot I did of the kids. But they also had a variety of family portraits that I’ve done. Here I am with one of my favorites!
Here is a closer look. 🙂
When capturing families, I LOVE to tell the story of the current season, and for this little guy his story was all about not being the baby anymore.
Check out the location of the exhibit!
The venue is called Angel Orensanz Foundation. From their website, “The Angel Orensanz Foundation for the Arts was established in 1992 as an artistic and cultural resource open to artists, writers, thinkers and leaders from all over the world, and to the community around us. Over the years we have welcomed and been inspired by Philip Glass and Spike Lee; Arthur Miller, Alexander McQueen, Salman Rushdie, Maya Angelou and Alexander Borovsky; Elie Wiesel and Chuck Close.” Needless to say, it was an incredible honor to have my work on exhibit here. The location alone is a “must see” when you visit the Big Apple!
I want to give a BIG thanks to SONY for being such an incredible partner and supporter of my photography and passion to empower moms! Photo Plus Expo and the exhibit this year was AWE-mazing! SONY, you knocked it out of the park!
