One of my favorite things in life…BEFORE and AFTER Photo Results to Inspire!

I LOVE seeing the transformation that happens when women find confidence with their camera!  Mother’s Day is around the corner ladies.  What better gift for Mother’s Day than the gift of confidence with your camera!

Below are a handful of awesome and inspiring BEFORE and AFTER Photo Results from our confidence students!  This whole idea came to me as I was working on a special editorial post for Babble; 8 Ways to Find a Photography Workshop Right for YOU.  Asking a teacher if you can see BEFORE and AFTER Photo Results is number two on the list.  And there were too many great examples to fit into the Babble post, so I’m sharing more here!  Enjoy!

2. Ask for BEFORE and AFTER Photo Results

BEFORE and AFTER Photo Results from former students is another great way to test the value of a photography workshop.  I LOVE having my CONFIDENCE Teachers share their students BEFORE & AFTER Photo Results because how can you not see the powerful transformation when it’s right in front of you?

Check out this BEFORE photo that one of Nicole’s student took of her daughter.

Now check out her student’s AFTER photo!!!  INSANELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Look at the lighting, the intentional composition, the use of shadows, the sharpness…I could go on and on!  Her former student took this photo of her daughter while she was waiting for her prom date!

Jill Ann, one of our awesome Dallas, TX teachers shared a GREAT behind-the-scenes blog post with a handful of BEFORE and AFTER photo results.  Here is just a teaser, but see her whole post here!

Freezing action is one of the top five techniques our students want to learn!  DONE!  Jill Ann taught them her secrets to capturing kids in movement, and they practiced on a baby who was all about rolling!

This is the AFTER photo!  I think her student got it!  Look at the color, soft lighting, highlights in the hair and sharpness–even though the baby is in a mid-roll!

Neyssa, our Eastside Seattle teacher, had a student that shared the most touching story about her workshop experience.  You can read her student’s story here, but check out her BEFORE and AFTER Photo Results!

Tina, our Wisconsin teacher who is also doing a CONFIDENCE Cruise next week, shared an awesome BEFORE and AFTER Photo Results blog post, From Auto Mode to Manual Mode!  Her student, Jessica Jacobson, shared this photo as an example of what many of her photos looked like before taking the Growing Workshop.

 

 

Now look at this AMAZING, DARLING AFTER Photo by Jessica Jacobson!!! (Incredible Jessica!  WOW!!!)  I’d say that Tina knocked it out of the park in empowering you with a camera!  Yay!!!

What else was on that Babble post of 8 Ways to Find a Photography Workshop Right for YOU?

Number 8 is “Look for Personal Touches” (i.e. “heartfelt” swag).  I could only share one photo on the Babble post, but check out how different and beautiful our teachers are at adding their own personal touches from handmade, hand-stamped notebooks to stitched bags for your workbook to coffee mugs with your initial to coffee toasts that say “Live Creatively” to book giveaways.  The list goes on and on!  They all add their own personal touch, and I’m always in awe!  Beautiful!

Since we first launched our nationwide team of CONFIDENCE Teachers, we’ve had 200 women come experience first hand our Growing and Budding Workshops!  TWO HUNDRED WOMEN with Before and After Results that inspire me everyday!  The CONFIDENCE Teaching program is part of me and Brian’s legacy because we believe in the great need for leaders to be raised up and mentored by other leaders.

We pour into our teachers, inspiring, infusing and training them in confidence.  And they pour out into all of you.

As I said above, Mother’s Day is around the corner ladies.  What better gift for Mother’s Day than the gift of confidence with your camera!!!
