Workshops

Early Bird Starts Today! Plus, a chance to win entry to WPPI EAST!

Me Ra Koh

Okay ladies, I am DROOLING over the Florida photos of where we are bringing our CONFIDENCE Workshop this Winter!!!

If you live in the Pacific Northwest or New York, February weather is DREADFUL and makes you want to fly away like a snow bird!ย  Well, this February, who is flying with ME?!!ย  Our first Winter CONFIDENCE Workshop is going to be in the quaint beach town called Clearwater, right outside of Tampa, Florida!ย  (I’ll have you know this is our FIRST time bringing Confidence to Florida state!ย  Woo-hoo!ย  I’m so excited!ย  And thank you so much for voting because I would have thought Ft. Lauderdale was what you all preferred.)ย  Tampa, FL it is!

We could only pick one more city for a CONFIDENCE Workshop this Winter.ย  Brian and I head to Costa Rica to shoot a wedding in January, WPPI in Vegas happens in February, and I’m speaking at a women’s conference in TX in March.ย  So even though Orange County got a few more votes than Seattle, we decided on Seattle for this Winter.ย  (This allows our crazy travel schedule to keep us at home that weekend, and since many of you email us EVERY week about doing more Seattle CONFIDENCE Workshops, this should work out for some of you too!)

WPPI East is going to happen for the first time this year!ย  The third week of October, mark your calendars!ย  For those of you who can’t travel to WPPI in Vegas every February, join us all in NY this October!ย  There will be speakers like Brian Smith, Joyce Tenneson, Jasmine Star, Bob and Dawn Davis, @photojack and MORE!ย  Check out this Press Release on WPPI East!ย  And you can also see all the speakers, topics and times if you CLICK HERE!

Another great lineup of cities! And I’m hoping we’ll get at least a peek at the Costa Rica wedding. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Oh Mera I’m going to cry! You’re finally coming close to me and it’s the one weekend in February that I have a wedding booked ๐Ÿ™ I know the ladies who are lucky enough to attend will have a fabulous experience!

  3. Katie Jordan says:

I think confidence means believing in yourself enough to go after what you want and not worry about what others will say.

  4. Me Ra says:

KIM!!! NOOOOO!!! That is such a bummer, BUT I’m so excited for you to be shooting a wedding! Go girl!!

    Amen Katie!

  5. Me Ra I would love to go to your social media event. Confidence to me is believing in myself and my abilities. Knowing that I can do amazing things. It’s the attitude of the little blue engine. “I think I can!, I think I can!, I know I can!”

  6. Jennifer L. says:

Would love to hear your social media talk!! Confidence means believing and trusting in yourself and your talents! I must admit sometimes that is hard, but I’m working on it. Wish you were doing another workshop in the NY area!!

  7. Cathleen Woodbridge says:

MeRa, everyday you touch my heart and make it smile when I read your words, see your pictures and experience your unique skill in making others feel so good. I love your example of how to honor others. You do it with such excellence. To me… Confidence is a joy-filled, reverent, respectful understanding of the art of “becoming.” It is a restless contentment that loves and honors where you are, while reaching for more!

  8. jeramy says:

did you say costa rica!??!?! wow….that sounds perfect right now. you have no idea. ๐Ÿ™‚ cheers to a great weekend!

  9. My confidence is what keeps me going and allows me to try new things, learn new skills and do my best even in the face of a painful, progressive disease that limits my movement and continues to take away from my life. I am confident that I will prevail with grace but not perfection.

  10. Joanie E says:

Confidence to me means believing in yourself against all odds.

  11. Jill Velazquez says:

Confidence for me… I am finally standing tall at 6’2″, shoulders back, head held high and going for it! I am following my dreams and living this ‘one’ wonderful life to the fullest, while having lots of love and respect for myself and those around me.
The quote that has become my motto is-
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. by Wane Gretzky
This is great for photography and in life.

  12. I feel that confidence is hearing the words “yes I can” come out of my mouth when my gut is saying “no”.

  13. Me Ra says:

Love hearing your thoughts ladies! Keep em coming!

  14. Julie S says:

Confidence means “doing it afraid” even while knees are shaking and my stomach is churning. It is faith that starts like a small thread of hope, and I am learning I need only to START and follow that little trail. I do not need to know all of the answers. Or even all the right questions. Confidence whispers there is a place for me – with my experience, my gifts, my personality. Confidence means quieting the roar of what everyone else is out there doing, and getting solid in the stillness of my heart to find out what I am ready to step out and try. And confidence is believing that what will flow from me will indeed be not only “good enough” but will be a blessing beyond what even I had hoped.
