Vote for a 2009 Workshop Location!

Me Ra Koh

As our high (insane) season dies down, Brian and I find ourselves reflecting over all the good this last year. Teaching workshops has been one of the highlights without a doubt. By the end of 2008, over 100 women will have attended our workshops in just this year alone! Isn’t that awesome! It makes me so excited b/c behind every woman was a life touched, inspired, rejuvenated and empowered. Workshops…they are at the heart of where our passion lies.

In the midst of reflecting, we are also mapping out 2009. Turns out we are pretty much booked through May 2009, and we haven’t scheduled a workshop yet. Waiting until the end of May to teach a workshop–that’s FOREVER AWAY! No way! Holding these workshops inspire and fuel us for all the other stuff we do! We need your energy as much as you need ours!

So here’s the deal. We have time in mid January 09 to teach a workshop. Below are four cities that we’ve chosen as options for our January 09 location. Vote below and tell us where you want us to come!

Only vote if you are thinking of attending b/c we do make our decision on the city’s location based on these polls we post.

What City Should the Jan. 09 Workshop Be In?
( polls)

Thanks everyone! You have one week to vote! Once we get the results, Brian and I will soon-after release Early Bird Registration price for our first 2009 workshop! Yeah! And since I know some of you are going to ask, not naming any names :), we are working on the details for the Advanced Workshop too.

One last thing! We only have TWO spots left for the Seattle December Workshop, and then it will be officially sold out! If you are thinking of coming, click here for more info!

See you in January 2009!!

Hmmm…my vote is for NY! LOL no but seriously maybe sometime in the future you could?!!!

  2. Lauren says:

My vote is for a Fall/Winter 2009 week-long photography cruise for couples!!

  3. Dallas says:

Aww, I was originally one of the ones voting for Atlanta, but starting 2009, I will be living in Belgium. So, now if you ever make it over to Europe, I’d be interested, but otherwise, I’ll have to just wait. I should have gone for one of the West coast workshops while I could.

  4. J.P. says:

I’m guessing, based on the fact that “over 100 women will have attended [y]our workshops” that those of us burdened with Y chromosomes aren’t invited. How ’bout you have a workshop in Atlanta and Brian can hold a “Wedding and Portrait Photography for Men–Manly Men” workshop next door?

  5. Sara Elliott says:

IF I were going to vote, I’d say AZ. Not able to travel currently (kids, traveling husband & elderly G-ma need me too much)

But after May if you are open….think about California. I know a few women from the bay area who you LOVE, just LOVE to meet you in person and attend. I’m one of them too but I live in Sacramento and don’t mind the small drive to the bay.

Oh, Tahoe would be a beautiful place too!

    Just my ideas!

    Have a GREAT day!!!

    Always,
    Sara

I’m not voting because I doubt I’d be able to attend, but if you pick Atlanta, I’ll have to at least look into it!

  7. jeramy says:

i can not vote for any of these locations.

  8. Misty says:

You guys are too cute! Be on the lookout for my text! =)

  9. Colleen says:

Oohhhh, Atlanta is close enough to consider. But how about DC?!!! Downtown DC and Old Town Alexandria in VA are beautiful places to take pictures!!!

  10. Sharon says:

I adore that picture of you guys!

Sonoma! Sonoma! Or Stinson Beach! I have Jeramy all talked into it!

  11. maya says:

i would also say atlanta, if our financial situation would allow for it.

    atlanta is cool, y’all!

  12. jenn says:

I can’t vote for any of these, but would love to suggest massachusetts for the future!!
