Yep, he did! And yep, I have to blog about it! π Kari, my little freckled mama, I picture you just laughing as you read this! π
But, we need to clear things up real quick!
This weekend I twittered on Facebook: Brian went under the knife and had the big V procedure for Valentine’s Day! oh, should I even be twittering this? couldn’t resist! :).
The emails that flooded in from that one post had me almost peeing my pants. They were so funny! And yes, Brian was laughing too. Some of you guys emailed him things that you should be ASHAMED of–talk about LOCKER ROOM talk!
For the record, I didn’t have “any thing” done. Some of you ladies confused what I said. π Naughty!
Instead Brian took a hit for the team and had the old “snip-snip”. Me and the kids took Brian to the doctor, and as we walk in Blaze announces to everyone around “I’m so glad I’m not going to have any thing done to MY penis!” Then he grabbed his penis and smiled wide. Yep, the whole experience was just…memorable.
But the best memory was Brian asking the doctor if he had ever had this V procedure done on himself. The doctor looked at him with a subtle smile and said, “Heck no. You kidding me? I’ll do the procedure, but I’m not going to have it done myself.” That’s when sweat started to drip down Brian’s face. π

If you think this post is bad, and I’m a mean wife, your so wrong! I could totally be posting a picture of Brian dancing in his underwear, and I’m not!

Ooo..poor Brian! Yea for Brian & Me Ra! I’m so torn… funny story short…Tim got the big V (yeah..probably shouldn’t use those 2 words together!) 6 weeks after “baby” Greer was born, the day after our 4 year anniversary. I take him to the hospital, they tell me an hour tops. I call home to check on little nursing baby Greer….he’s bawling. I drive immediately back home, pick him up, drive back and walk into the hospital waiting room. He’s sitting there and through his grimace he says “where the h$!! were you? I have been waiting here for 40 minutes” the nurse had checked on him twice, “is your wife coming back for you?” he replied “I think so” there is NO way it took me over an hour to get back and forth…there is NO way his Big V took an hour..I say 20 minutes tops! would I really leave him after he took such BIG measures to ensure the spontaneity of our love life? I think not! Blaze speaks for a lot of men across the land….crack me up!
That Blaze..what a funny little kid. My husband was supposed to get the snip snip after number 2, but after going for his consultation, he never went back. I sure am lucky he got scared or we would not have had the most wonderful gift in our little Ari!

Yesterday’s twitter and today’s post made my day. I hope it inspires Dave to do the same — I think now that we are on kid #5, Dave is actually looking forward to getting snipped. I just want to know what men talk about with the doc while the snippin’ is going on…. golf? baseball? investments? politics? how women just don’t understand? I wonder….

Brian, this is a respect thing! She respects you and your “taking one for the team” so much that she wants the whole world to know. At least that is what I told my husband when he asked me to stop telling everyone. π He is in his second week of recovery (and everyone knows).
That is hysterical! We’ve been contemplating for a while now so I’ll have Matt give Brian a call when we’re ready to get the scoop. You had me laughing out loud with this one and THANK YOU for sharing. Really!

So here is a weird/ funny story. Me and mom were rewatching the beyond the green box and refuse to say cheese videos on saturday. we were watching some of the interview part… talking about the funny family stories. mom says “ya know i wonder if they will have any more kids?” …. we discussed it for a while and then moved on. The next day we get on the computer and check the blog… and see that you tweeted about brian getting the big v procedure! so strange. Poor brian– hope you feel better soon!
maybe Brian should be the poster child for the V procedure & tell all…
1) fears before, 2) the actual procedure & 3) changes in your life afterwards!!! Go for it, Brian.

just wanted to let you know that our neighbors are expecting in about a month… and this is after the v-procedure. when he went to get tested his sperm count was twice what it was before the procedure. fyi. I’m looking forward to getting the shoot the newborn!
π Wasn’t going to leave a comment…but after reading the last one I HAVE to! My uncle got the “snip snip” after child #5…and five years later can #6 then 2 years later #7!…so, you have a good 5 years before you need to worry about things right??
