His birthday breakfast vision is very clear. It needs to happen in our bed (not his?) with blueberry pancakes, lots of melted butter and syrup.
He wants a GI Joe birthday part in our backyard. And he’s begging for a scavenger hunt (feel free to share any ideas! :))
Pascaline already gave him his birthday card. She wrote, “I’m so proud of the big boy and little man you’re becoming.” I love that card.
And the best part is that instead of Mexican food for dinner tonight (being that today is Cinco de Mayo), he wants to go out for Korean food! That’s MY BOY!
It’s his birthday, and he deserves all the above and so much more.
Happy Birthday to my Blazey!
You’re not a baby anymore, but you’ll always be my baby.
love, mama
Happy Birthday Blaze! I love all his original, very specific plans for his birthday 😉
Happy Birthday Big Boy Batman! Nothing sweeter than a big sister lovin her little man, forever baby brother…that card just had to have made your heart melt.
Happy Birthday Blaze! What a sweet card…having a little brother myself, that almost made me cry. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Happy Birthday Blaze!!! I know you are going to have an amazing day. I hope you win your scavenger hunt 🙂
AND those are some AWESOME Batman wings. What my 6 year old wouldn’t do for a pair of those.
Happy Birthday!!!!! Hope the pancakes were good. 🙂
Love the pic with those wings! As for the scavenger hunt, we do lots in our house. Not sure of his reading skills (or other attendees), but you can either use pictures of things/places in the house for clues (instead of words) or to have rhymes that you leave the last word out that they have to figure out what the “location” is that rhymes with the rest of the clue (that you read). It’s fun to hide the favor bags or “his biggest present” at the end. Have a great time, it’s the best!
That is the steely look of a super hero if I ever saw one!
Happy Birthday Blaze! And here’s to moms and sons…they will always be our baby boys.
Happy Birthday Blaze, I want your Batman wings for my son 🙂 They’re too cool for words!
Love it! My Max just about to turn 5 has the same wings and mask…and when he puts them on he is transformed! He has the same serious face and believes that he is indeed …a superhero! I blogged about it below

No bribing – this is the absolute wrong way to get kids to do anything. You would be conditioning them the wrong way.
birthday cards that are personlized are the best in my opinion, they really come from the bottom of the heart of the sender-.-
The guidelines you provided listed below are extremely precious. It proved such a pleasurable surprise to get that looking forward to me as i woke up today. There’re constantly concise as well as simple to know. Thanks plenty with the valuable ideas you’ve got shared below.
Awesome post but no joke the sheer amount of Ads really make our experience not as great as it could be.
Im not going to say what everyone else has already said:D but I do want to comment on your knowledge of the topic:D Youre truly well-informed! I cant believe how much of this I just wasnt aware of:D
Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and all. However think about if you added some great photos or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and video clips, this site could definitely be one of the best in its field. Good blog!
