One of Those Mondays!

Me Ra Koh

Ever have one of those Mondays when you feel like you just can’t get ahead of the game?

Well I’m having one of those Mondays when I feel like I can’t get my head into the game period.

Do I have any friends out there? 🙂

Lots coming on the blog this week, but today…nothing today. I’m chalking it up as one of those Mondays. Brian also has a horrible head cold. The kind with the watery eyes, he looks like he’s crying everywhere he goes. Kids are out of control from cabin fever and being sick all last week. And me, I’m just praying I can out run this cold all the way to Chicago! 🙂

How is your Monday going?

my monday is ok. i have a “november in b&w” project on my blog this month and that’s going great. but monday’s aren’t typically a good day at my husband’s job, so that can bring me down.

    if i let it. 😉

my daughter and i played in the leaves today and then came inside for some hot chocolate, and i’ve got leftover potato soup, buttermilk bread, and tea cakes in the kitchen, so overall, things are good.

  2. Sharon says:

    I’m still in my P.J.’s…

  3. Katie says:

I wish I was still in my Pj’s, and wish I had just played in the leaves instead of working the day away at a job that doesn’t use my creative side. 🙂 I think my week would be a lot better if you posted those pics you said you would of Cape Cod. 🙂 My hubby and I are going to Cape Cod next fall, and although they don’t have any timeshares in Chatham there are lots in Cape Cod. Any other towns you recommend??? Eastham? Yarmouth?

  4. I am procrastinating like crazy today. I have been working on a huge new photography project and have completely ignored all domestic duties. So now that the big project is done, what do I attack now? That Chicago wedding so I can do a sneak peek or do I do the dishes I haven’t touched in a week?

While I’m still deciding what to do, I am surfing the internet, watching news videos on Reuters, instant messaging friends and updating my Twitter! I believe I am successful in my procrastination:)

  5. Denise says:

My Monday is going well – I had a friend come over earlier and now I’m reading my blogs because my son is down for his nap 🙂 After a bad day always follows an AMAZING day, so tomorrow will be better! Hope you feel better, Brian!

  6. jeramy says:

boy do i feel you on this post. i was behind before i even got up today. didn’t sleep well….to much work…not enough day. so, i guess i’ll just scrap it all and read your latest blog post. maybe i’ll even write one. that would great!

    i hope brian get’s well.

  7. Stacy T says:

cold and chilly. but i signed up for atlanta last week – so excited. how many people have signed up so far?

  8. I am here for you Me Ra 🙂 Having “Californian” chilly weather 2 days straight and loving it. Can’t wait to make some hot chocolate tonight.

Otherwise, just finishing up on post processing and getting ready for a shoot Wednesday. Remember Erin from the San Diego Workshop? I did her maternity session a couple of weeks ago and I am going to do her new baby girls shoot on Wednesday. I am so thankful for the relationships made at that workshop!

Hope you guys have a great week!

    Brian, get well soon!

  9. mirela says:

Hang in there, Me Ra! I ate my weight in snacks today, so yeah, my Monday sucks, too :)))

  10. Jennifer says:

You too, huh? I’m a stay at home mommy/photog and today it seemed my 16 month old daughter always wanted me when I was trying to do something productive…then when I would just stand there and do nothing she would go and play! I just chalk it up to being a Monday as well…just a slower day that I took to enjoy my daughter. 🙂

  11. Get Well Brian and Stay Well Me Ra!
Today was my day for “New Beginnings”. Bad day yesterday, good day today. The difference? My new mantra- Let it Go. Let God. Time and Patience.
    xo

  12. Summer says:

What Brian has must be going around, cause I have it too. Sure makes teaching and counseling kiddos so very interesting! It’s been such an interesting Monday. Shelter in place this afternoon caused the end of the day to have some excitement!

Hope Brian feels better soon. Enjoy your time in Chicago.

  13. Yvonne L says:

Is it just a *bad* monday or what? I hope you all start feeling better and the kids can get out soon while Brian’s eyes dry up…. and you can RUN! RUN like the wind to the windy city! Out run that cold!

  14. Me Ra Koh says:

You guys make me feel so much better! I love that I’m not alone!

  15. becky says:

While up with my sick little 7-month old one of many times last night, my husband said something along the lines of “Ugh! And the week you’re going to Chicago!” Allowing no room for misinterpretation, I looked him in the bleary eye and said, “oh, make no mistake… I’M GOING to Chicago!”

    (Hopefully I don’t get it, too…)

  16. gina says:

    I hear you… you are not alone…
well, if this helps.. take a look…
This will put a smile on you and get you in the spirit…
and if you are in Cali the week prior to the big day.. come on buy and see this year’s theme….( the flight of the human spirit) we are so excited… crazy, but excited..

TOTALLY HAVING THAT SAME MONDAY TODAY HERE. Like Jeramy said – too much work (job, chores, parenthood) not enough day.

I was thinking, I wish the time management fairy would come shower me with pixie (wisdom) dust. But then I realized that God grants wisdom to those who ask.

So I guess I need to go spend some time in prayer for wisdom.

  18. annie says:

Actually, not too bad! I spent most the day in my PJs editing photos and even watched one of your dvds. I love the interviews on “beyond the green box” I have a mad crush on your husband! You two are really cute together. My husband and I make each other laugh constantly and it is the key to our marriage.

One sucky thing did happen.. the mom who has carpool this week totally forgot my kids at school. She either picked up her kid early or let her go home with a friend and forgot about my kids!! Yeah.. drama on the cul-de-sac!

  19. jen s. says:

my monday was ok………i ran around trying to get my table setup for tonite’s last nite with When Women War…and really just tried to stay cool…talk to people…and even did a “look for less” shopping giveaway with a photo shoot. tee hee hee. I feel good that it is all over…and i’m ready to rest tomorrow.

  20. Jennifer says:

Good monday here. I got to spend the day at home with the hubby! YEAH. played hookie from work.

  21. Me Ra Koh says:

“drama on the cul-de-sac”…that totally made me laugh Annie!

  22. Nicki says:

I know it’s now Tuesday, but my Monday fell right in line with a typical yucky Monday. I went to urgent care yesterday afternoon and found out I have a severe sinus infection. They put me on antibiotics so hopefully I will be well by this weekend for Chicago!!! I can’t wait.

  23. Lauren says:

For some reason this post never refreshed in my browser! I totally missed it!!

I got a call abotu 4:45pm yesterday that my kid DID break his arm last week on the playground. I’ve been running around trying to get him an appointment to get a cast, finally got one for tomorrow morning.

I’m going to take my camera, Me Ra, and just get OVER it if I start to feel self-conscious. As long as the doctor is okay with it, I’m going to take pictures of him getting his cast put on.

I can’t WAIT for Friday! I need to pack and do laundry and figure out if I’m going to try walking the 1.1 miles from the train station to the hotel or brave public transportation. I can’t wait to meet you and Brian, and I hope you’re both healthy!!
