Everyday Magic with a Modern Twist

When baby is about six months old, this is the BEST time to take a portrait like this!  Baby can’t crawl or walk yet, so baby stays stationary for you.  But baby’s legs are also super chunky, and he’s discovered his toes.

I loved the clean, simplicity of dad on the couch with his long legs stretched out, and baby dressed down to his diaper.  The white t-shirt, jeans and black socks with baby’s white diaper keeps the contrast high for making it black and white.  Classic look for a more modern family.  If you’ve got a modern dad at home, think contrast in colors, clean lines and simple (de-cluttered) setting when capturing his story.
