First of all, Diego (the suffering guy–yeah, that’s him) comes over for dinner Thursday night. We’re having a great time eating by candlelight on the back deck.

Oh, how I love this post. I yearn for lifetime friends like these. Being in the military and moving so frequently it is so hard to have friends that know you so deeply that you can say or do anything you want and don’t have to spend the rest of the night hoping you said or did the right thing. Thank you for sharing.
LOL!!!!
I love this post! Thanks for the photo tip and exercise!
MeRa!!! That last one of Brian looking all peaceful cracked me up!! What the heck? Maybe he’s the the quiet bass player in the band – the other two are the rockers.
Love getting the camera out and being silly with my friends. Glad you had some fun R&R with your friends. Happy Summer!
I agree – Brian is totally the bass player. 😉
How much fun! I wish we had life-long friends like that, too. We live in the town we went to college in, so all our friends graduated and moved away – most of them off to various airline jobs where they aren’t even in *their* home for more than a few days out of the month.
Those are great tips for late-night outdoor pictures. I’m always so anti-high ISO but I’m going to try it. Of course, my little XTi only goes up to a 1600, but we’ll see how it works.
[…] I posted a blog yesterday afternoon on Photography Tips for Taking Pictures When It’s Dark Outside. Just in case you missed […]
isn’t that the cover of queen’s last album?
I am laughing OUT LOUD at that last picture of the guys by the flame. What a RIOT! You have such a way of making us feel like we were right there with you for all the fun!
You guys looked like you had a fabulous time!!! So glad Brian got to have some guy time after all the women time at BlogHer. 😉
