Today is the big day that we thought would never come! But it’s even bigger for our whole family than I realized! Funny how every thing happens at once!
The craziest news for today is the type that makes me want to cry! Pascaline is starting first grade. Say a prayer for me moms and dads. I’m so not ready for this!
Pascaline and I have made a deal to have lunch after school, just the girls, and decompress her day together over a pot of tea. 🙂 So love being a mom on days like this.
And the other fabulous thing is that Fabulous Life airs Shae and Erica’s, My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding, on VH1 at the below show times. From what I understand they did 300 plus hours of filming, and they’ve narrowed it down to 25 minutes worth!! And of course, we’re all stressed about us looking silly! Reality TV is way harder than it looks!
It’s been wonderful working with VH1 and Pink Sneakers Productions for this last year, especially the last couple months. I just wish they’d let us see it before it airs! 🙂

Big favor! Can anyone record one of these for us? We have a TV, but it’s not hooked up to any thing–just use it for movies so if anyone can record it that would be AWESOME!

Me Ra, I already have it set to record the show. All I need right now is to figure out how to transfer it to PC and burn you the DVD 🙂 I’ll let you know as soon as I figure it out.

I caught the end of it! Ma Ra snapping away! I didn’t see Brian… But, how much fun did you guys have!!!! I’m gonna try to catch it again to see the whole wedding! VH1 plays things over and over again so, I’m sure I’ll get to see the beginning. From what I saw the wedding looked like a BLAST! And I thought that they were a darling couple!
It was great. I had recorded it so I could watch it when I got home from school. It was great. They are such a cute couple.
Let me know if you need me to send you a copy. I recorded it so I could show my photography class. I have been telling them all week that the lady that is teaching the October workshop is being aired on VH1.

We just got home to realize that we missed it. We thought it was at 11pm. 🙁 Hopefully they’ll air it again soon sometime in the evening or maybe you can show it at a PUG meeting?!?!

Brian and I are so overwhelmed with how well it turned out. (I’ve been a tad bit scared seeing some of the other shows.)
Don’t you think VH1 did such a generous job in how they showed us shooting a handful of times! That was so cool of them! We had a blast with their film crew, and they talked about hooking us up with shots, but this was so cool. But where was Pascaline and Blaze? The true hit of the show! 🙂

Hey Me Ra! Congrats on all the air time they gave you guys! It was fun to watch. But I have to say…your bro didn’t put his foot down once!! LOL. OK OK, being a husband to the bride to be I totally understand where he was coming from but if you ask me, I would of kept the converse! LOL. Then again, this is coming from a guy that had Nike’s at his own wedding! =)

That was so much fun to watch last night ! What a wedding to shoot and it was really cool to see you doing your thing ! It was also super cute to see Pascaline walking up the aisle – did she love it ?! Also, side note, I too sent my daughter off to 1st grade this week – so unbelievable, I think it was harder on me than her- she kept looking back and waving as she walked up the hallway, giving me the reassuring look I should have been giving her ! THen, I took my 3 year old son off to preschool for the 1st time. He just smiled and waved too ! and when I took my camera along he said, “just like with Maddie” – he already knows the ropes ! I love these kids ! CONGRATULATIONS again, and looking forward so much to the workshop ! take care ! Karry
