I have some exciting news to share!

PDN (Photo District News) is having a Photographer’s Virtual Trade Show on June 11th, 2009!

The event is FREE! Without you having to pay a dime, they are going to have speakers holding sessions all day on photography topics. Having a “virtual” trade show is brilliant. If you can’t afford to take the time off or life is just to crazy to make it to a tradeshow in person, you now have another option. And it’s FREAKING FREE!

The excitement doesn’t end there. I’m excited to share that I have been invited to be the Keynote Speaker! I get to kick off the whole show! Is that cool or what! I’ve been told that 11,000 people have registered as of last week, but the registration is endless b/c it’s all virtual! If you want to join us, I would LOVE it!

My title is “Capturing Your Summer Memories”. I’m going to walk through all the steps to preparing for a great summer of photography from vacations to playing with your kids and/or pets in the backyard.

It would be WONDERFUL to have my blog readers join in! But be warned, I start at 11am Eastern Time which is 8am PST.

I will be sharing a handful of helpful tips/techniques for summer photography. The range will cover storytelling to technical info you want to know. We’ll share favorite images as well as recent work, and you’ll hear my voice the whole way through (but I won’t hear yours…hmmmm…interesting). BUT, you can post up your questions at the end. (which is a little scary to me since there will be thousands listening–but it’ll be fun!)
