Leave Your Camera Behind (You Still Have Your Smartphone)

As professional photographers, it’s a BIG deal when we choose to leave our camera gear behind.  We brought what we needed to film pieces for this episode before entering and after exiting.  But we made a choice as a family to “take in” the magnificent art at the Louvre Museum.  We wanted to soak every bit up and not worry about trying to take a picture when the lighting in museums is never ideal for great photography.  This was one less thing to carry or take our attention away from the art itself.  And besides, we had our smartphones for those moments when we had to get our selfie with the Mona Lisa.
