What Combo Sounds Most Exciting to You!

Me Ra Koh

Brian and I got to brainstorming the other day around the idea of the upcoming December Workshop. (look out!!)

A number of you have been sending us emails with all kinds of workshop requests. Some of you have asked for a Beginner Workshop, like what we’ve done on our City Tour this year. Some of you have also emailed for an Advanced Workshop. And yes, some of you have requested a combo of both. Our readers are very clear on what they want! πŸ™‚ We love this about all of you!

Based on all your emails, we have come up with three different ideas. If you are thinking of attending our Dec. 6 and 7th 2008 workshop, which one of these combos would you prefer attending? Based on what the results are, we’ll release registration for the December 2008 workshop!

*Please note, we ask that you only vote if you are planning or thinking of attending the Seattle, December Workshop. This way it gives us a true idea of what to release. If you want to vote for your own city, please do on the poll below!

Here’s the poll to vote for the December workshop and below the poll are the descriptions of each. (This is a little warm up on voting so your all ready to vote for the winner of the Water Photo Contest tomorrow! :))

What Combo Workshop Do You Want in December 2008?

Descriptions of the Options!

Option A: 2 Day Beginner Workshop!

We do our popular Refuse to Say Cheese, 2 day, Beginner Workshop. The women who attend this workshop vary in levels. We start with the basics and build our way up through post process and lighting. These workshops often sell out and leave people with a desire to attend an Advanced Workshop. The tuition for this workshop is $999, but if you register before Sept. 20th you can get the Early Bird Discount and pay only $749.

Option B: 2 Day Advanced Workshop!

The return of our 2 Day Advanced Workshop! We did this last October, it sold out with people coming from all over the country. We spent the first day on reviewing the Basics and then focusing on Advanced Lighting. posing and technique. We spent the second day talking about the Business side of running a photography part-time or full time business (i.e. marketing, packaging, pricing, etc.) The tuition for this workshop is also $999, but if you register before Sept. 20th you can get the Early Bird Discount and pay only $749.

Option C: The Combo Deal!

We COMBO the two workshops in 3 jam packed days! This is for all you who emailed and asked us to spend 1 day on the Beginner stuff and 2 days on the Advanced stuff. And that’s what we would do! This is the workshop for those of you who would like a refresher on the Basics but want to have a bit more focus on the Advanced Lighting and Business side. We would start Friday morning and end Sunday evening. Okay, Brian and I had fun coming up with the pricing for this. Technically, based on our tuition costs, the workshop would be $1499 for 3 full days. But if you sign up before Sept. 20th, you get the CRAZY Early Bird Discount of all three days for $999! Isn’t that cool!! I think that’s the BEST deal of all.

But you tell us! What do you want to have happen this December in Seattle! Your wish is what we will do!

But wait! Help us plan for 2009’s City Tour too! (And again, only vote if you plan on attending the workshop you are voting for. Thanks so much!)

I VOTE for this Workshop in 2009!

    What do you say??

Holy Cow have I packed on the pounds since October! The thought of fitting back into those jeans…which are stretchy mind you, is frightening.
