Uh Oh!

Me Ra Koh

It’s 1am in the morning, and how does this happen. You sit down to get a “few” things done, and five hours later, you’re writing emails that don’t make any sense! What do you do? Post a blog! 🙂 Yikes!

As I’ve been working, emails have been coming for the DVD 2 photo submissions! How fun is that! Thanks for sending them to us, we’re going to look at each and every one! The deadline is now here, so thanks a million for sending us so many!!

I’m also going to leave the survey up and running for all this week. Your feedback has been SUPER helpful that I would love to keep collecting people’s thoughts. I was going to do a photography tip, but I can’t see straight. Off to bed!

Oh! Here’s a quick question! A large percentage in the survey said they’d like to see more personal posts on our life. This kills me b/c half the time I think the world must think Brian and I are nuts (or at least he is :)). Can you give us feedback on what kinds of posts you’d like to see? What comes to mind when you think of more personal posts on the two of us?

If you haven’t already, **Click Here** to fill out our 4 question survey!!

I took the “more posts about you and Brian” to mean the whole family, like the entry on your struggles with school mornings or the one about Brian wanting Blaze’s hair cut and you weren’t so sure… That sort of stuff. Nothing photgraphy-related, just real daily life things.
So, WHO are we anyway? Brides? Beginner moms? I wanna know! 😉

  2. erin says:

I love the posts about your family. It’s so inspiring to hear about what you are up to in life and how you’re handling it. You have such a unique spin on it all. The video clips of the kids, family photos, news. It’s all great!

  3. Denise says:

I completely agree with the jess – like the post about Blaze’s haircuit – that was sooooo cute and it totally inspired me to wait on my own sons haircut too! Everyone keeps telling me I have to cut my 15 month old’s hair – but I just don’t want to! I keep saying, “MeRa waited until her son was 2 – so there ARE people out there who don’t do it right at age one!”

  4. Dorian says:

I love that you were up at one. At one, I was being peed on by a cranky one year old and the thought in my head was I wish I had my camera. The next thought was what detail would I capture.
I loved the workshop and haven’t had to much time to play with all the new things in my head.
The details like struggling in the morning are great. I’m still trying to find a copy of the vegan lunchbox book.
    Thanks

  5. Heidi Jones says:

I agree with erin that you have such a unique and refreshing spin on things that it is great to hear. I loved seeing the family garden, how is it coming? I also learn a lot and get new ideas from seeing the everyday shots you take of your kids that give me ideas for my own two.

  6. Amanda Key says:

    Hi Me Ra,
I sent you an email last week about how to pay for the ofther half of the workshop. I go to the link…but it says it is sold out????????
    Thanks,
    Amanda

  7. Brooke Kasper says:

I would love to see slideshows of events that you put together with the wonderful songs that you select.
The slideshows with music are what move me!

  8. Bethany says:

Okay, I missed the survey and I’m on board with the more personal stories request… but what would also be super helpful with the pictures that you post are the details like aperature, SS, ISO and lens used. Both your pictures and the one’s you post from others.

  9. Celebrex. says:

    Celebrex….

    Naproxen celebrex. Celebrex….
