7 Secrets for Photographing Toddlers at the Playground by Neyssa Lee

Neyssa Lee

7. Capture the Conflict. When photographing toddlers at the playground, it is a place of obstacles. There is always something a little too big for my kids, yet they want to try it. By capturing the conflict, you’re capturing the struggle and the determination as they try to tackle something new.  Again, it helps to have enlisted a helper so someone is there for support and safety. Often times, capturing conflict can lead to capturing triumphs. Milo wanted to try going down this pole. He was so excited, yet hesitant. Though not this time, there will be a time when Milo can go down the fireman’s pole on his own. And I can show him how far he’s come.

I LOVED this Neyssa!!!! And it’s the PERFECT post to start up again after being in the jungle because life with toddlers is like a jungle without question!!! My favorite is Number 1 and Number 6. Super creative point of view on Number 1, and I just ADORE the story, lighting, composition of Number 6. Felt like you were talking about Pascaline ten years ago. Got to love our strong willed girls! 🙂
