5. Silhouettes at Sunset
Silhouettes at sunset are super fun! This is a dramatic type of lighting that makes your subject’s actions or body positioning pop. You can capture these with your smart phone or camera. I took this photo of Blaze when we were filming our family travel show in New Zealand. I set my camera to Continuous Shooting mode so that I’d get several photos at once when I pushed down my shutter release button. You want to take several frames a second with action shots; this helps ensure that you’ll capture the jump at its highest point.
