After almost a decade of exploring the wonders of Thailand, we led our first photography workshop tour in Thailand!  Below are a handful of our favorites, but I’m really EXCITED to share some of the shots our group captured! So keep reading!

For nine days, we shared our family’s favorite off-the-beaten path spots from floating raft houses near the rain gutters

to our secret spot down south near the white beaches

What does a typical day look like for our photography workshop tour in Thailand?  Can I say ADVENTURE with all caps?  During the day, we’d take our cameras and go to bustling food markets or bathe elephants in a river

or snorkel in the most beautiful turquoise waters you’ve ever seen!

In the evenings, we’d sit around and laugh over the day’s adventures and share photos giving each other feedback.

And for those strong souls who could stay awake, Brian would take them out into the night for lessons on shooting the stars.

Some women weren’t professional photographers but LOVE photography as their creative outlet, some had taken our 2-Day CONFIDENCE Workshop and had their own photography businesses, one special gal had even come to our Portrait of Italy Photography Workshop Tour!  In fact, I’ll never forget her telling us that Thailand was a little too wild, exotic sounding for her.  But she was jumping off the bamboo raft into the blue lagoon with the rest of us, photographing monkeys and wild birds like nobody’s business!  And then one beautiful mom brought her 13 year old son.  From the first moment he and Blaze met, they were inseparable, sharing their own wild adventures each day.

Brian and I have so many more photos to share with you from our photography workshop tour in Thailand!  These are just a start!  We’ll definitely be doing that on our instagram accounts, @merakoh, @briantausend and @merakoh.dreamtravel.  But I’m really excited to share a sample of the AWE-mazing photos our group captured!  Keep scrolling!
