Brian and I are surprised at how many of you commented yesterday in regards to bringing the workshop to Minneapolis! I’m posting a bigger blog later today. But out of curiosity, how many women want a workshop in Minneapolis?
If Minneapolis is a good spot for you to fly into or you live there, AND you want the workshop to come to you in October or November, post a comment and let us know who you are!
Based on the response, we will TOTALLY consider it and see what we can do. I would love to spend a weekend with all of you!

Here, Here, pick Minneapolis!! I am in Minneapolis! I just about jumped out of my chair when I opened your blog this morning. I on the blog everyday reading and learning, so to learn from you in person would be amazing. To have you come here would be the chance of a lifetime. You will not regret it. I would say coming in October would be way better than November (the trees get pretty bare in November), but that’s up to you!
I hope that all the other MPLS ladies give a shout out and represent. I am keeping my fingers (and toes) tightly crossed!

I would love the ability to consider a MPLS workshop an option for this fall… I’m down in St Louis, but that is definitely a drive I’d make!

Like Julie, I just about fell out of my chair when I saw your potential to come to Mpls!!!!
I have been trying to pick just the right time and the right location to share a Me Ra workshop with my mother! It is going to be a thank you gift for all she has done for us with our daughter over the last couple of years.
What a great treat for Carol this would be… to see her granddaughter AND experience photography through the eyes of Me Ra!!!
So count us in for 2 in mid-october through November.
Oh, and if you are looking for someone to host and help with lining up details… I would love the opportunity to learn and serve more!

If I could find the bravery to invest $800 in myself and my potential, I would consider a workshop in MNPLS. My husband has an aunt in the cities we could stay with for free and for cheap eats.
How about an advanced workshop????? That would be wonderful.

Definitely plan an early to mid-October it you want to capture the Fall color. I would be interested depending on what you are covering. If it is more business/branding then that is what I might go for.

I just read my email…I’ve been away for awhile and was happily surprised to see you are considering a workshop in Minneapolis. I am so in need of your expertise and positive energy. I’ve had several opportunities come my way to take photos and I’m exited, but find myself talking myself out of the opportunities. I consider myself more of a beginner, but I’ve taken some beginner workshops and was totally bored and wanting more, so if you come count me in. I live in right near St. Paul, so I’m really close and super excited!!! And October would be better than November just in terms of weather.

There is a great little place called the Minnesota Boat Club, located on Raspberry Island in downtown St. Paul (MPLS and St. Paul are only 15 mins apart). It’s the perfect, quaint location for a small workshop. Located on an island in the Mississippi River, it’s historic and has amazing views of downtown St. Paul and river bluffs. You can walk across the bridge into downtown St. Paul for more urban settings as well. I used to work for the hospitality company that exclusively books the venue and could probably get a deal of some kind.
