Oooh, camping!! Looks like a great time! I get to take Emma Girl Scout camping next weekend, and she is busting at the seams! Cant wait for your VH1 episode, we have been watching them the last few weeks waiting for Sept. 6 to roll around!!

  2. Great photos – especially the one of Blaze in the rain 🙂 Hope to see you in L.A. if you’re going.

  3. Sharon says:

Wait… you can only stick kids out in the rain to have their tantrums while camping…? Oops.

    just kidding!

  4. Susan D says:

Hey, that is a switch…doesn’t Blaze usually have the SUPERMAN stuff on??

Cute photos! I got your dvd yesterday and now I feel like I know you! I was not able to watch it with 100% attention last night, but what I did see was fantastic. I do have a question, and maybe this is addressed in the dvd and I missed it…

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR KIDS TO NOT ALWAYS LOOK AT THE CAMERA? I wanted to take a photo of my niece and mom cuddled up and reading Strawberry Shortcake and as soon as Lydia saw me with the camera she immediately gave me a BIG GRIN! Not exactly what I was after…but it is probably my own fault for always telling her to smile when I am taking her photo! How do you get your subjects to just continue with what they are doing without looking at the camera?

  5. Pete says:

All of those a great Me Ra. But that last one of Blaze throwing a tantrum in the rain is THE BEST!! So funny! I’m looking forward to the VH1 show tomorrow!

those pics are fun & fabyoolous! 🙂 looks like yall had a ton of fun LOL :)!!

  7. Me Ra says:

Thanks so much! We had the BEST time camping! It was a blast!

And Susan, great question! Kids are conditioned from birth to look at the camera and say cheese. Even if they aren’t talking yet, they seem to know what adults expect of them when the camera comes out. Best advice for changing this is to have the camera out all the time, and shoot from a distance to send the message of “I’m just loving photographing you being you.” Kids seem to get this and start to pay less and less attention to the camera.

  18. I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
